Test Principle:
Nucleotides play crucial biological functions. They constitute a class of compounds made up of three components: a purine or pyrimidine base, ribose or deoxyribose, and phosphoric acid. These compounds are primarily involved in nucleoside formation.Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is widely regarded as an indispensable and universal energy currency for cellular synthesis, vital for the survival and reproduction of all organisms. ATP can be generated through various cellular pathways. A prime example is its synthesis via oxidative phosphorylation within mitochondria, catalyzed by adenosine triphosphate synthase, or through photosynthesis in plant chloroplasts. The primary energy substrates for ATP synthesis are glucose and fatty acids.
ATP has an absorption peak at 254 nm. The content of ATP can be determined by high performance liquid chromatography according to peak time and peak area
