Coenzyme A ( CoA ) is an important enzyme cofactor in the body, which is widely involved in intracellular metabolic reactions, especially the synthesis and decomposition of carbon chains, and maintains the body 's energy balance.
In the presence of ATP and Mg2+, Acyl Coa Synthetase ( ACS ) catalyzes the combination of FFA and coenzyme A to form acyl coenzyme A. Acyl coenzyme A is catalyzed by Acyl-CoA Oxidase ( ACO ) to generate hydrogen peroxide ( H2O2 ). H2O2 reacts with the fluorescent probe to form a strong fluorescent product under the action of the enzyme. The fluorescence intensity at the excitation wavelength of 535 nm and the emission wavelength of 587 nm is proportional to the content of H2O2. The kit calculates the CoA content of the sample by measuring the production of H2O2.
