The signalling and trafficking of this receptor are regulated by multiple factors| including Rab GTPase| P2Y purine nucleotide receptor| integrin alphaVbeta3| T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase| etc.. Mutations of this gene are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas.
