Testprinzip: YO-PRO-1 (YP1), also known as oxazole yellow, is a non-permeable green fluorescent DNA dye which cannot pass through the biologically active cell plasma membrane of healthy cells, but can pass through the disordered cell membrane of apoptotic and necrotic cells to reach the nucleus. In nucleus, YP1 binds with DNA and emits bright green fluorescence while YP1 in free state has no fluorescence.
