Test Principle:Dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP4, EC 3.4.14.5), also known as CD26, is a type II transmembrane serine protease widely distributed on the surface of human cells. It can break down the peptide bond of proline or alanine residues at the second position of the N-terminal of the peptide chain. In vivo, dipeptidyl peptidase 4 can rapidly decompose incretins that promote the reduction of blood glucose levels in organisms to achieve the purpose of regulating blood glucose. Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 can decompose the substrate and release the fluorescent substance 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC). At the same time, dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitors can specifically inhibit the enzyme activity of dipeptidyl peptidase 4. The kit calculates the enzyme activity of the enzyme by inhibiting the difference in the rate of change of the fluorescence value before and after inhibition.
