Test Principle:Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 ( DPP4, EC 3.4.14.5 ), also known as CD26, is a type II transmembrane serine protease widely distributed on the surface of human cells. It can break down the peptide bond of proline or alanine residues at the second position of the N-terminal of the peptide chain. In vivo, dipeptidyl peptidase 4 can rapidly decompose incretins that promote the reduction of blood glucose levels in organisms. As a new oral hypoglycemic drug, DPP4 inhibitors can regulate blood glucose by inhibiting DPP4 activity. Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 can decompose the substrate to release the fluorescent substance AMC.This kit calculates the inhibitory activity of the enzyme inhibitor by measuring the change in the rate of increase in fluorescence value.
