Product introduction
Red blood cell (RBC), also known as red blood cell, is the most abundant blood cell in the blood, vertebrate body through RBC transport oxygen, RBC also has immune function, in anemia examination can be detected by sucrose water hemolysis test to detect red cell membrane defects. It is especially suitable for the detection of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), which is a chronic intravascular hemolysis caused by acquired erythrocyte membrane defects, often aggravated during sleep, and can be accompanied by hemoglobinuria and pancytopenia.
The kit adopts photoelectric colorimetric method. It uses low ionic strength of sucrose solution to incubate red blood cells, which can greatly promote the combination of complement and red blood cell membrane, so that the complement sensitive red blood cell membrane forms holes, sucrose water enters into red blood cell and causes red blood cell membrane rupture. Hemolysis of erythrocytes, which makes PNH susceptible to complement, is mainly used for the detection of defects in the erythrocyte membrane of human and animal blood, especially for the identification of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. The percentage of hemolysis is calculated by photochrometry.
